| Function : |
| |
The Astro-Clock is an Astronomic Programmable Timer that is used to Switch On and Off the Lighting Loads (e.g. Street Lights or Parking Zone Lighting, Premises Lighting ... etc ... ) according to Sunrise and Sunset times for that Site location, without a brightness detector (Photo Cell Sensor).
Sunrise and Sunsets times are calculated automatically for that 'Day of the Year' by the Astro-Clock according to the geographic parameters i.e. Latitude, Longitude and the Time Zone of the installation site defined by the user. |
|
|
| Description : |
| |
• |
The Astro-Clock is preconfigured configured at the factory level to the geographic parameters according to the Site Installation. |
| |
|
| • |
The Astro-Clock allows: |
| |
Switching operation (switch-on / switch-off) of Lighting Loads during the sunset and sunrise times calculated by the microcontroller. |
| |
|
| • |
Permanent display by LCD, 4 lines x 16 characters: |
| |
Real Time Clock Values like hours and minutes, day of the week, Date, Month, Year and also the Sunrise and Sunset times for the particular Site of Installation are displayed. |
| |
|
| • |
Astro-Clock has a dedicated Real Time Clock (RTC) Chip with a Lithium Battery for Back up for retention of Time setting in absence of power. RTC is clocked with independent crystal of Frequency: 32.768 KHz. |
| |
|
| • |
Manual Override Switch for Maintenance Task. |
| |
|
| • |
Astro-Clock is designed to work in harsh & demanding environments. All the required components for EMI / EMC protection are integrated in every section. ABS enclosure (Make : BOPLA) |
|
| |
Note : Absence of a brightness detector (Photocell Sensor) increases operation reliability and allows easier installation and maintenance. |
