Our Electrical Distribution Network is fully polluted with Electromagnetic Noise & Harmonics also know as Electromagnetic Interference. (EMI). |

The primary source of EMI is because of the nature of the Load like Solid State Electronic based devices like Inverter, UPS, CFL Ballasts, and Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) for 3 Phase Induction Motors. |

This Electromagnetic Interference. (EMI) has adverse effect on the performance of Digital Electronics based Circuits; the consequences are erratic behavior & malfunctioning of the circuit. |

To overcome the above said issues because EMI, following components & devices are incorporated in the circuit. |

Metal Oxide Varistor (MOV) and Cx - Cy Capacitors: are connected across the Line & between the Line to Earth to by pass High Surge & Spikes which occur on the power supply lines. |

Cable Ferrites are added in the driver circuitry to suppress Electromagnetic Noise generated because of Power Contactor Switching. |

Electronics Circuit Design Guidelines are implemented to overcome the issue of EM!. For e.g. use of decouple capacitor, Ground Plane. Isolation of high voltage circuit & low voltage circuit. |
